The Levys of Monticello tells the little-known story of the Levy family, which owned and carefully preserved Monticello for 89 years, far longer than its original owner Thomas Jefferson or his descendants. The Levy family's story is told against the backdrop of the rise of antisemitism in the United States and the legacy of slavery.
